What is this site about?

Punk Plaza is our vision of a market place 2.0, a place to let small-to-medium companies search for clients and providers.

If you have a purchase need: you can use Punk Plaza to publish your RFP ('Request For Proposals') for free, letting other companies to make their offer. We will let you know as they do.
If you sell products or servcices: you will find potential customers and their projects explained, so you will be able to make them a proposal, for free. If you want your offer to be highlighted over the others, you can purchase our Premium Proposal Services.

Why is it called Punk Plaza?

We decided to call this "Punk Plaza" after reading the Punk Manifesto by Mark Simmons and Richard Laermer, authors of "Punk Marketing". When going deeper in our study of the movement, we found another manifesto, probably older, by Greg Griffin, from which we dear to extract this fragment: "PUNK IS: the belief that this world is what we make of it, the truth comes from our understanding of how things are, not from blind adherence to formulas on how they should be."

So, Punk Plaza is:

A free access market: access is granted for everyone.
A honest market: you see a company's reputation before hiring them.
A transparent market: the only thing we don't publish is contact information (for obvious reason).
A market with its own rules: you won't get more success for being bigger, but for doing things better.

How do I publish a Request For Proposals (RFP)?

It's easy: fill the form in the home page and there you go. Don't forget to fill the E-mail field, so we can reach you when a proposal is published.

How do I make a proposal?

You always make a proposal to a previously published RFP. So If you find a request interesting, you just have to click on "Make Proposal".

Then you'll find a form you have to fill with your company (or yourself, if you are a freelance) information, and details about your proposal. Don't forget to include information about the process to do the job and the costs, so your proposal will be attractive to your potential client.

How much does it cost?

You can publish your RFP, or make a proposal for free. You can buy our Premium Proposal Service to make your proposal be highlighted over the others.

What can I do to make my proposals be more visible than the others?

If you want your proposal to be highlighted over the others, you can buy our Premium Proposal Service, in one of the following forms:

How does payments work?

Do I need a PayPal account to use your services?

No, you don't. We've chosen PayPal as our payment method because it gives us more options: If you already have an account, you can use it, and if you don't, you can use any credit or debit card, with all the guaranties of this secure payment platform.

How do recommendations work?

If you find a proposal of a company you know, and you want to promote them, you can give them your recommendation to increase their reputation. Just click on the word "Recommend" on the bottom right corner of the offer.
